There is no official announcement yet from the Israeli government regarding travel to Israel this summer but most anticipate that current restrictions will ease as summer approaches and vaccination becomes more widespread. However, we must be mindful as parts of Europe go into lockdown over a recent wave of Coronavirus infections, things can suddenly change. Assuming that one can travel this summer, Israel will likely require proof of full vaccination. The U.S. has not yet created a "vaccine passport" but this is a possibility since the white CDC vaccination card that one receives can be easily forged.
